Star Trek Fleet Command is a strategy and resource management game set in the Star Trek universe, specifically in the alternate 'Kelvin' timeline shown in the new movie trilogy, produced by J.J. Abrams.
The game uses all the typical strategy MMO resources based on time management. In other words, you'll have to construct buildings for your starbase and fight against other players scattered around the galaxy. You'll have to join either the Federation, Klingons, or Romulans and take part in the battle for control of the sector of the galaxy.
In addition, the game includes a collectible character system where you'll see familiar faces like Kirk, Spock, and Scotty, in their movie forms. In order to unlock them, you'll have to gather resources by completing missions and improving your buildings and space fleet.
Star Trek Fleet Command is a real treat for Star Trek fans. Although we may miss the original characters and situations, it's still enticing to be able to immerse yourself in the most iconic space opera of all time (sorry, George Lucas).
